Energetics Ed is a 501c3 non-profit bringing highly engaging energy education to young people. Solar Rollers is our flagship program - high school teams building and racing sophisticated solar-powered remote-control cars.

We challenge young people to understand energy.

At Energetics Education, there is nothing more important than teaching energy-based climate change solutions to young people. We believe that youth have the adaptability, the motivation, and a lifetime of opportunity to make meaningful improvements to energy systems everywhere. They lack only the skills and confidence to find the way forward. Our goal is to provide transformative energy-based experiences while making the process positive and fun.

Solar Rollers is our flagship program. We challenge high school student teams to design, build and race sophisticated solar-powered remote control cars. Engaging many different types of learners, Solar Rollers teaches energy management, STEM skills, teamwork, self-confidence and problem-solving. Teams are supported with cutting-edge materials kits and extensive online resources.

Energetics Education is an educational 501(c)3 public charity based in Carbondale, Colorado.

Mission
Our mission is to inspire young people to develop knowledge in the field of energy and empower them to improve the world’s energy systems. We do so by providing highly engaging energy education programs that build technical skills, teamwork, self-confidence, ingenuity, and community.

Vision:
We envision a world that understands and values energy, using it sparingly and sourcing it wisely.

Values:
We believe that energy, the biggest business in the world with the biggest environmental impact, is vitally important; especially to our future. We believe that the world will be a better place when energy, and its impacts are understood by everyone.

We believe that hands-on energy learning is genuinely fun. We work very hard to bring programs to students and teachers, and we learn and have fun along with them while doing so.

We know that in real life forming a team often means working well with whomever is at hand and up for the task. We welcome other organizations and community members and we look for connections.
