We challenge young people to understand energy.
Energetics Education believes there is nothing more important than teaching energy-based climate change solutions to young people - except for making this learning process positive and fun.
It is worrisomely evident that adults have been slow to address climate change and to solve energy problems. Meanwhile, young people have the adaptability, the motive, and a lifetime of opportunity to make meaningful changes in society's energy systems. They need only to understand those systems and find the confidence to move ahead.
Solar Rollers is our flagship program: challenging high school student teams to design, build and race sophisticated solar-powered remote control cars. The program started within Solar Energy International in 2013 before spinning off into Energetics Ed, and the two likeminded organizations are delivering the 2014 season as partners.
